Study of Geography
Geography has been with mankind since their existence. Geography formulate our lives and surrounding, probably the most important and delicate thing about geography is our environment, which we take for granted. Geography prepares us to have a better understanding of our individual world and the global world in spatial term. Geography is natural in everyone?s lives. Furthermore, geography will help you navigate to and from one place to the next.
The earth?s atmosphere is plain in some respects, and difficult in other. Its major mass parts, such oxygen and nitrogen. However, extremely variable in some minor components, like water vapor and ozone, which play a main role in the heat and radiation fluctuations. The atmosphere has a difficult makeup based on temperature incline. The atmosphere?s mixed attributes buildup of contaminants however, is usually invisible, only when light scattering particles floating in the air make it visible. The lowest of atmosphere layers is the troposphere, therefore, contains about seventy-five percent of the mass of the atmosphere, and mostly all of its moisture
Geography is the science of place and space. Geographers ask where things are located on the surface of the earth, why they are located where they are, how places differ from one another, and how people interact with the environment. Geography deals with region, location, place, movement and scale. Geography plays a big role in all our lives, without it, we would not be able to plan vacation, go to school, work, or shop at grocery stores and malls, etc.
Every ten seconds the world?s population increases by 27 people. That?s not a fabricated shock statistic. It?s just a statement of fact, according to the Population Reference Bureau. With chance those 27 people will have enough food to eat and clean water to drink and will dwell in civilized homes. They will become police officer, teachers, salespeople, and real estate agent. If all goes well, they will live to a mature old age (National Geographic, October 1998, pp, 6).

3 Human geography focuses on people and their activities on Earth. It examines how people live and where they settle, or how did they end up where they are. How do people in different culture adapt to their environments? Human geography addresses these questions and many other aspects such as culture and population. Therefore, it also studies people and how their activities are distributed in space, how they use and perceive space, and how they create and sustain the places that make up the earth?s surface. Human geographers work in the fields of urban and regional planning, transportation, marketing, real estate, tourism, and international business. Physical geographers study different kinds of climates, land forms, vegetation, soils, and water. They predict the weather, control land and our water resources. They also conduct research on the earth?s sole for planting. Many human and physical geographers cross functional pass wheatear maps showing land changes or population change for food and water. However, maps are very important for physical geography, because it gives direction and location. Also geography warns us when there is a storm, tornado or earthquake is approaching. Probably the most important part of human geography is that of our children, they are the future of all mankind and the earth. However, it also study and focus on children lives, characterized experientially and ethically. Therefore, according to the world fact book, the birth rate is 19 percent birth rate per 1000 as of 2009, and the ratio at birth, 1percent of male(s) to female. While feminist geography had been able to reinforce the need for examination of gender, class and race as issues affecting women. Furthermore, women and population are a critical factor in population issues. However, women, as the bearers and usual nurturers of children, have earned their share of hardship (National Geographic on population, October 1998). 4 Health geography can offer a spatial understanding of a population?s health, the distribution of disease in an area, and the environment?s result on health and disease. Health geography also deals with accessibility to health care and health care providers. This is also considered a sub discipline of humane geography; nevertheless, it requires a perceptive of the other fields such as epidemiology, climatology. Although health care is a great public superior, it is not pure. However, it is not equally available to all individual. The health care is demanding public services that are continuously distributed throughout the world. The health care service is only available in certain areas. Therefore, only the the more financial and functional will be able to access it. Financial status depends on prices of a particular health care. Functional reflects the quantity and structure of the health care provided services. According to Environment Network News (enn), a change in climate possibly will help women, in the United Nations. According to the United Nations, woman tolerate the brunt of drought, rising seas, melting glaciers and other effects of climates change but are mostly ignored in the debate over how to close down it. The United Nations debate over how to halt it. The United Nation Population Fund said today, in the state of the world population report in 2009, the organization stated the world?s poor are the most at risk to climate change and the bulk of the one point five billion people on one dollar a day or less are women (enn). Therefore, women who are poor and live in poor countries are among the hardest subjected to climate change. However, they contributed the least to it, said unfpa executive director Thoraya Ahmed Obaid. The world leaders are due to meet at a United Nation, global 5
Warming summit in Copenhagen in December. The United Nation agency urged them, to consider the women that would be harmed by climate change and how their voice can make a big different.
According to the world fact book, the population is over six billion as of July 2009. The population growth rate is also two percent of six billion as of 2009. Population as we know it is becoming a global warming problem according to studies conducted by the United Nations. In fact most of the problems facing individuals, families, communities, and nations are affected by the quantity of individual portion of the planet.
Thomas Malthus was a British economist who was born on February 14 or 17 in 1766, in Surry, England. Malthus argued because of the natural human urge to reproduce human, the population would increases geometrically, and the supply of food would only increase arithmetically. Nevertheless, food is an essential component to human life. Therefore, with the population growth in any area or on the planet, if not observe would lead to starvation. Malthus also felt like the united State was a young county with fertile soil would have the highest rate of birth. Nevertheless, two hundred years ago Thomas Malthus predicted mass catastrophe as an effect of over population. Today almost one hundred percent of world?s population growth is in the developing world.
