The Oxigen Proyect

The Oxigen Proyect
The point of the Oxygen Project is to make computers more user-friendly. The Oxygen Project will place computers in many useful locations to give people easy access to the internet and other services. These computers will implement new technologies in order to create a friendly and intuitive environment for people so they can use even the most complex programs. One technology these computers will implement is voice recognition software. Voice recognition software will make it easier for people to use the computers. Rather than using confusing command prompts (such as dos) or even a more user-friendly graphical user interface (such as Windows), the user will just be able to say what he or she wants the computer to do and the computer will understand and do it.

The Oxygen Project will use voice recognition to remove the need for mice and keyboards. Rather than have the person learn to speak the computer?s language (for example, learn to use Windows or dos), the computer will learn to speak the person?s language. It will create the most user-friendly environment as the user will only have to know how to speak in order to use the computer. Voice recognition software will give people a new and more intuitive interface, removing the time and effort to learn and use mice and keyboards. People will be able to use computers to do the simplest and most complex tasks and therefore making each person?s daily routine easier by allowing the person to do more with less effort on his or her part.
