Sometimes people say, ?Running is good for your health, and you can live longer.? Is it true? Isn?t there another reason? Is health the only cause of longevity? I wondered if the effect of relativity is one of the causes.

In 1905, the great physicist, Albert Einstein, put forward a new theory called ?The Special Theory of Relativity?. It is very simple and it says only these two principles 1. The laws of physics are the same in all inertial system. 2. There is a speed limit, and it is the speed of light. Suppose two inertial systems, one of which, S, is the rest system and another, S?, is moving at the velocity v to S. Therefore, the velocity, v, at which she ran is v = (42.195×10³) / (((2×60)17)×6018) = 5.122 (m/s). The total time, t, of the rest system while she was running for 20 years is t = (20×365)×(((2×60)17)×6018) = 6.0137400 × 107 (s) Substitutiong these values for the equation (1), the total time, t? , in the system which she was on is determined as t? = (1- (v/c)2 )1/2 ?t = 6.0137400 × 107 (s) Thus the difference of the time between these two systems is t ? t? = 0 (s) (acalculia) According to the results of calculation, the longevity caused by exercise seems not to have a relation to Relativity Theory. Actually before I calculated in practice, I thought that there was the effect of at least one second, but the speed of light is faster than I expected. The astronauts can verify the effect with their watches if they have been in the space station for 100 years. If the space ship is for traveling in space, the effect becomes more obvious, like the movie,?planet OF the apes?.
