Business Parks
Business Parks [image] As you can see the building is very complex and got a very good architecture to design it. [image] The characteristics of a business are very important, as it can be a way to attract customers. It also helps the are to look pleasant. The characteristics of a business park is that it is rather attractive and a lot of the time it has some amazing architecture, here is a couple of examples of the sort of work that is done to encourage customers. Here is a picture of a rac building in a business park. There will be a lot of features such as fountains, plants, trees and even ponds. The car parks will be well designed to keep the customers pleased with the lay out, the business parks go big on presentation and try there best to keep the customers happy and pleased. They spend a lot of money in making the business parks. There will be a lot of businesses in the area that are head quarters for businesses. The will be near a busy road as it will act as a trap to get people to go there, also it allows lorries to get in and out of the business park easier as the roads are bigger. Its easier than going into the centre of a town. One of the rac buildings is located next to the M6 Walsall, this is a good example as its easy for the rac vehicles to get to there destination with ease. Business parks are located in large cities for the reason that it can attract a lot of customers and is able to get a lot of workers. There is a rising number as it improves the business by a huge amount.
Again by being close to a large city the import and export rate will be higher. Environmental Problems Economic movement in and out of town can cause a lot of environmental problems. A big problem is if a shopping mall is opened such as Cribs Causeway found in Bristol. This is located just off of the motorway, which can sometimes cause congestion, which leads to an increase in pollution into the atmosphere, this effects global warming. The ground in which it was build in was an area where there was grassland and was a habitat to animals such as rabbit insects. Surface run-off is an effect of this which can lead to flooding as the water is unable to go through the concrete. The amount of people that went there encouraged a food court and other food shops, this causes rubbish to be outside making the environment unattractive. The business inside of Bristol went downhill after an effect of this as a lot of people decided not to go right into the centre of Bristol. This was because the mall was closer, because the mall is not in the same county as Bristol it meant that Bristol didn?t benefit from this. Companies moving into the Bristol on the other hand are at the advantage because a lot of people go to Bristol every day. If you move from the outskirts where not many people go to an area where you will get noticed then business will be higher. If a lot of companies do this then areas can get deserted and nobody chooses to have there business there. This makes places look unattractive. The idea of moving a mall to the outskirts of a place such as Bristol is a good idea but the idea of moving a little business from the outskirts into Bristol is a good idea. That?s the sort of planning that needs to be done, to see whether it?s a good idea to move into the centre of a big place such as Bristol
