Benjamin Franklin is one of my favorite people in history and I am about to meet him. Since I began to study about him in my history class, I have always been fascinated with his life. I am going to travel through a time machine and we are planning to meet at the local park in Massachusetts, close to where he was born. I admire him for his intelligence as an author, scientist, and a politician. When I arrive at the park he is waiting for me. Obviously he is wearing the usual white puffy shirt with a light weight vest on top. While at the park he teaches me a little bit about electricity and how it works. As we stroll through the park he pulls a kite out of his bag. Honestly I do not know how to fly a kite, so he teaches me, but luckily not during a storm. We both place a pair of bifocal glasses on so we can see the kite flying so high. Benjamin promises me when we are finished at the park we can go back to his home and he will cook me something tasty on his famous Franklin stove. Benjamin teaches me how to play chess so we try a couple of games but I just can not win against him. The clock strikes three o?clock and my day with Benjamin Franklin, one of my favorite people in history, is almost over.
