What you can get out of halloween
Many people see Halloween as a time of fun, costumes and candy. Others see it as a way to honor the dead relatives that have passed or celebrate the coming of fall and winter. No matter what you think of Halloween, there are some benefits that celebrating this holiday can offer you. Here is a look at just some of them. It’s fun. Halloween is fun all around. People enjoy dressing up and decorating. Fun can help people of all ages reduce the amount of stress, improve depression, and bring balance to their lives. No dress code. For the majority of your life, someone has dictated what you wear. Whether it was your parents or a dress code imposed on you by the schools or workplace. Halloween is the one day a year where it is socially acceptable to get a little wild. Express yourself. You may have a “going out” personality that you share with your friends and coworkers, and a totally different hidden side that you keep to yourself. However, it can be quite therapeutic to express that side of you once in awhile, and Halloween is a great way to do it. For instance, if you normally dress in dark colored, conservative clothes, a bright and flashy Halloween costume can be a lot of fun.

Halloween story

Halloween story
The night before Halloween, started out swell, but as the day went on, it turned out to get much more exciting. Hallie was walking down the street and looking at all the decorations that were hung up throughout the neighborhood. Her favorite was the light blue wooden house that was nestled along the corner of Pine Avenue and Ivy Hollow. There were paper ghosts and gravestones set out all through the yard. The columns on the porch were covered with spider webs and bats hung from the ceiling. Hallie?s memory had just kicked in. She remembered her friend?s house had once had bats that looked just like the ones hanging from the porch that she stood in front of right now.

It was late October, it was Halloween night and I was watching T.V. when the door bell rang, I walk over and open the door there he was the clown on a tricycle, then he look at me and drove toward me and he pushed me down the stairs. Then I woke up in a chamber and I was chained to a pipe when he came on a TV screen, he had and old mans voice that was very creepy, and he said that I have an hour and a half to find the cure in the room for the deadly poison flying in the air. So I looked around the room and I found a saw and I was wondering what the saw was for. So then I turned around and I saw a bathtub, and there was a picture in it and I took the picture out and I looked at it for a minute and I was wondering what it was for.
He rolled into the room on his tricycle and he had big puffy cheeks that were red, and he had big blue eyes, and his mouth was just a chin and a lip. He was wearing a tuxedo that was white, and black with a red ribbon tie. He was dripping slime out of his mouth. His hair was spiky and it was all sticky. He was about three feet tall and he smelled like smoke.

A coolbreeze was blowing sending leaves dancing noisily across the forestfloor. I remember thinking to myself that this night was truly thekind that you imagine when you listen to a scary tale. Holding tightlyto the person next to you, just like I was holding Sara as we walkedthat evening. The path we walked on would take us up the hill and into the woodspast the cemetery. We chose this path because of it being the night itwas, we were feeling young at heart and out for an imaginaryadventure. As we walked past the cemetery a group of mischievous youths camejumping out from behind some tombstones and trees. My heart was in mythroat and I felt Sara give a startled jump.

One year, we taped a Halloween special on which one of the guests was Cassandra Peterson, well-known as a Charles Addams-like character who called herself ” Elvira.” She appeared in a parody of the popular sitcom “Cheers” as a customer in the bar opposite Hope as the show’s bartender, Coach. In our sketch, Cassandra entered the bar, looked Hope up and down, and said, “Nice job. Who’s your undertaker?” As usual, the sketch was edited, sound-checked and transferred, along with the rest of the show to 3-inch tape that would be transmitted by satellite to New York, from whence the show would be broadcast.
