Scuola Leonardo da Vinci announces the new programs for the year 2006: the Academic School Year in Italy. The “Academic School Year” or “Gap Year”, in Italy, is an Italian language course, intended for beginner and elementary students, which lasts for 32 weeks and leads to the internationally-recognized AIL (Accademia Italiana di Lingua) diplomas (DILI-Intermediate and DALI-Advanced).
Leonardo da Vinci was a painter, sculptor, architect, cartographer, engineer, scientist and inventor in the 15th century.
Leonardo Da Vinci and Michelangelo were not required to write essays just to prove that they are masters of their crafts. So why do teachers require students to write an Art essay just to pass a subject? If you are going to ask me, there are certain tasks that you must integrate in a school subject to make it clear whether you have learned something or not.
When you decide to write an Art Essay you need to consider two important issues. Firstly, you need to think about what the artist intended to achieve through his/her work of art. Secondly, you need to consider how well the artist succeeded in accomplishing his/her goal. Keeping these two issues in mind will help you when it comes to writing your essay and is a rather fair way of appraising the piece you are writing about. It also clearly lays down the basis for your appraisal. You can use this method to carry out essay writing on a book, movie, show, painting or any other creative piece of work.
