# Three Vital Ingredient’s Method To Practicing Piano

Have you ever felt as if your piano playing has become stagnant and is not improving no matter how much you practice? The answer may not be the amount of time you put in, but rather the strategy you use to practice properly.

Classification is a useful method of organizing data and simplifying complicated notions. In short, classification essays rank the blocks of objects related to a common standard.

Guidelines for the Classification Procedure

When you classify, you separate the members of a group into categories whose participants associate themselves with similar characteristics. Based on what reason do you assign participants to definite categories?

Consequently, you have the principle of classification.

# Write Queen Writes

Write Queen Writes
You just wouldn’t believe the trouble I had getting this column ‘on the air’. The proess wouldn’t have been so tedious if I weren’t so technically illiterate, but I am, make no mistake. Finally I found a webmaster who was willing to build a website for me without me taking out a bank loan.

I moved to Alabama the 4th of February after 23 years living in Florida to share living space with my adoptive family and their 6 dogs and my cat Jewely. I didn’t have any difficulty adjusting, especially after having lived alone for 6 years, but Jewely was a different story. She was not used to dogs much less people, and spent a lot of time under my bed clothes.

As I write this, though, she is well adjusted, sleeps either in a condo that “Aunt” Linda bought her, or on a sheepskin bed under the TV or in bed with me.

# From Description to Analysis

The Problem: One of the most difficult and important skills I teach to my Reading & Composition students is that of moving from descriptive writing (what amounts to plot summary in an English literature class) to analytic writing, to writing that communicates the student?s ideas rather than the studied author?s ideas. By the middle point of the semester, students for the most part have understood how to present a central argument for their papers, but they do not write in such a way that their argument pervades the essay assignment. Because composition teachers rely on a distinction between arguments and evidence, students often do not see how their evidence (the bulk of their essay) can be anything but descriptive, non-analytic, and transparently factual. For example, students often present characters? speech as communicating their own (the students?) ideas rather than the author?s: that ?Bill says ?x?? satisfies the student as an argument, presumably because they?ve selected out a useful sentence for quotation. Of course, finding suitable primary evidence for an argumentative thesis is itself a worthy achievement on the part of the student, but it is not the end to learning the essay form. Students can learn to use ?support? sentences as mini-arguments in themselves, ideally (though not necessarily) as mini-arguments that further the paper?s overall thesis.

# The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn

This novel is very subjective and can been viewed in many ways as to whether this book should be accepted by the school board or not. Obviously looking directly at the content and to trying to determine whether this book caters to the students? desire is absolutely futile. To determine whether the novel?s content is acceptable to the reading of teenage students is very much a controversial issue. In The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, the writing style and the content play an extreme role in determining whether this book is acceptable.
